New meds, new problem Options

Hello all

I have been put on Nicorandil and a GTN spray after an angina attack at 03:05 two weeks ago today, go for an ECG next week and also have to have another angiogram.

Sorry to hear this Albert, do you think it was the new drug that caused the attack? Hope Lillian is ok.

Hi Albert, sorry you have to go through this. My hubby has a GTN spray too, and has had quite a few ECGs!!! He has an ongoing problem though. I hope it all comes up clear, could it be anything to do with the meds?

Sorry to hear this and I hope the new meds help. It's scary when it happens in the middle of the night. I have been through this with my dad. They will get you sorted.

I was just thinking of you when I came on here and was going to ask how you and Dear Lillian were doing. Sorry to hear about your angina attack, that must of been very scary for you.

Hello All

Thank you for the kind posts for Lillian and I, She is coming to terms with the diagnosis which seemed to make her depressed although she/we had known there was a problem for years it comes like an unexpected slap when the problem is given a name.

I am ok, the only problem for me is my mother, father and elder brother had heart problems, still the British Heart foundation have been fantastic with information, we hope you are all having bright spots in this dismal illness (RA).
